Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Technivo AB, which operates MinKörkort, handles your personal data when you use this website. We are the data controller for that processing.
We have tried to write this in plain English rather than legal boilerplate. If anything is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

MinKörkort is an independent study website for Swedish category B theory. It is not operated by Trafikverket, Transportstyrelsen, or any driving school, and we have no access to official test records.
2. What we collect
We collect only what the service needs in order to work:
- Account data — your email address, which Google confirms when you sign in, and when you last signed in. We do not store a password, your Google display name, or your Google profile photo.
- Study progress — which lessons you have opened or marked complete, and the results of practice questions and mock tests, so you can pick up where you left off.
- Purchase records — which plan you bought, when it starts and expires, the amount and currency, the tax amount, and the payment reference from our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data — your IP address, browser and device information, and server logs, kept to keep the service secure and to investigate faults.
- Messages you send us — the content of support emails and anything you include in them.
We do not ask for your personnummer, BankID, driving licence number, address, or phone number. Please do not send us those details either.
We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, social media plugins, or product analytics. We do not build profiles about you, and no automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects takes place.
3. Why we process it, and our legal basis
- To give you an account and deliver the study material you signed up for — performance of our contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To take payment, unlock your access, and issue a receipt — performance of our contract with you.
- To keep accounting and VAT records — a legal obligation under Swedish bookkeeping and tax law (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep the service running, prevent abuse, and debug faults — our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable service (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To answer your support messages and, if it ever comes to it, to establish or defend a legal claim — our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
Because we run no analytics or marketing tools, we do not currently rely on consent for anything. If that changes we will ask you first, and this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated before any such tool is switched on.
5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
We prefer EU hosting regions where our suppliers offer them. Some of our suppliers are US-based and may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and — for suppliers that are certified — the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
You can ask us at support@technivo.se for details of the safeguards that apply to a specific supplier.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and progress
- For as long as your account exists, then deleted within 90 days of you closing it
- Accounting records for purchases
- Seven years after the end of the financial year, as required by bokföringslagen (1999:1078)
- Support emails
- Up to two years after your question is resolved
- Server and security logs
- Normally up to 90 days, longer if needed to investigate an incident
If you close your account we still have to keep the purchase record itself, because Swedish bookkeeping law requires it. We keep only what that law needs — not your study progress.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your data, where we are not legally required to keep it.
- Restrict or object to how we use it, including anything we do on the basis of legitimate interests.
- Send you your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
Email support@technivo.se and we will respond within one month. Exercising these rights is free. We may ask you to confirm you control the account email before we act, so that nobody else can request your data.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — we would like the chance to fix it. You also have the right to complain to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), the Swedish data protection authority.
8. Younger users
Most people studying for a Swedish B licence are 16 or older, and the service is built for them. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 13. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian agrees before you pay for anything. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
9. How we protect your data
The site is served over HTTPS. You sign in with Google; we do not store a password. Card details never touch our servers, and access to the database is limited to those who need it. No system is completely secure, but if a breach ever put your rights at risk we would notify the supervisory authority within 72 hours and tell you where the law requires it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. For significant changes we will email account holders or show a notice in the product before the change takes effect.
